I am a social worker and an official bonded tour guide. I am also a writer and a journalist. I have written 2 books, and many newspaper articles in Spanish for many years. Presently I write for El Ojo del Lago, an English magazine edited by the retired writers living in the Lake Chapala area. I enjoy very much my tour guiding work since it is challenging. Every day I do something different and I am not secluded in 4 walls. I feel pride in helping disoriented foreigners to live happily in this area.

Funny experiences I have many, from American guys looking for Mexican submissive wives, who no longer exist in Mexico, to foreigners mislead by tour guide books that promise the following: "Live in the paradise of Mexico with $800 US Dls a month" Where can you live like a king with $800 US a month? If you tell me, I will go live there.
However, I have many good experiences, basically assisting American and Canadian retirees getting settled in Mexico, find homes for them, furniture and furnishings, and helping them get acquainted in the area.
